Public schools are on the ballot. On Tuesday, October 6 we are hosting School Board Night with the pro public education candidates endorsed by the Travis and Williamson County Democratic Parties. Come hear what they would do for our students, our teachers, and our classrooms, and ask them your own questions.

A home in the Travisso neighborhood (you’ll get the address after you RSVP). Meet Leander ISD School Board candidates, State Board of Education candidate Allison Bush, and U.S. Congress candidates Caitlin Rourk (CD 10) and Claire Reynolds (CD 11).

Leander Democrats meets the first Tuesday of every month at 5th Element Brewing, 6:30 PM. All are welcome, come meet your fellow Democrats!

🗳️ September 1, 2026: Meet Your Leander Candidates
We brought the Democrats running for federal, state, and county office to Leander so members could hear them in their own words and ask their own questions: Matthias Early (HD-20), Justin Early (TX-31), Heather Jefts (Williamson County Judge), Leslie Booker (512th District Court), and Claire Reynolds (TX-11).
Inaugural Meeting: July 7, 2026
We shared our vision for building a community of Democrats right here in Leander, learning who our candidates are, and funding the grassroots work that actually wins elections. We heard from Williamson County Chair Kim Gilby and Travis County Vice Chair Kerry Stevens on the coordinated push to elect Democrats up and down the ballot this November. And we welcomed more than 40 Founding Members on the spot.
