📌 Past Events
🎉 November 3, 2026: Election Night Watch Party
We watched the election results come in together at 5th Element Brewing, with free pizza and
0 shirts. Thank you to everyone who knocked on doors, greeted voters and made calls this fall.
🏫 October 6, 2026: School Board Night
We gathered at 5th Element Brewing for a roundtable conversation with the Democratic-endorsed candidates for the Leander ISD Board of Trustees: Serenity Coats, Chitra Nedun, Laura Marques, and Jason Embry. Members heard how the board works, what it means for our schools, and asked their own questions.
🗳️ September 1, 2026: Meet Your Leander Candidates
We brought the Democrats running for federal, state, and county office to Leander so members could hear them in their own words and ask their own questions: Matthias Early (HD-20), Justin Early (TX-31), Heather Jefts (Williamson County Judge), Leslie Booker (512th District Court), and Claire Reynolds (TX-11).
🎉 July 7, 2026: Inaugural Meeting
We shared our vision for building a community of Democrats right here in Leander, learning who our candidates are, and funding the grassroots work that actually wins elections. We heard from Williamson County Chair Kim Gilby and Travis County Vice Chair Kerry Stevens on the coordinated push to elect Democrats up and down the ballot this November. And we welcomed more than 40 Founding Members on the spot.
